Bing - Poor grammar and typos can lead to lower web page rankings

Most of us try to write really great posts or articles, but sometimes typos do happen. Also litlle things like bad grammar sneaks in sometimes when you are trying to make a point.

We usually ignore minor mistakes and allow the reader of our site to get the point. But the search engines can and will lower your rankings on them and of course your traffic for these mistakes.

Recently, in Bing’s official blog, Duane Forrester published a post in which he explains that you should check the grammar on your web pages.

Bing it seems and probably all the other search engines state that bad grammar can be bad for your rankings.

The same goes for bad HTML code, which can be even worse.

“Many people are not aware of the technical errors on their web pages” says Duane Forrester.

So by all means check the grammar and typos on your pages or posts, but also check the HTML code. Everything you can do to help yourself project your site better, helps you!
